Physiotherapy

Hydrotherapy involves the animal walking on a treadmill which is immersed in water. The use of water has numerous benefits, notably reducing the weight of the body and thus the force exerted on the animal’s joints along with a massaging effect. The resistance of the water allows us to work the muscles, tendons and ligaments gently but effectively.

Coban during his hydrotherapy ride

It’s commonly thought that animals are afraid of water but for most of them this is no obstacle to hydrotherapy sessions. These sessions are positive for Coban helping him to lose weight and reduce his locomotor difficulties caused by osteoarthritis

Physiotherapy exercises, massage and hydrotherapy help to decrease pain and improve the movement of your animal
